Different loudspeaker setups from different manufacturers have been integrated and updated. For systems from ProAudio Technology the current NT1 library is also included. Older setups have been removed. The new K2 Library is available for free in the download area.

We recommend users who work exclusively with ProAudio Technology sound systems to use the K2 Library, which has been provided especially for ProAudio Technology. You will find this version together with the Setup Guide in the ProAudio Technology download area.

This means that 605 different loudspeaker blocks in K2 are now freely available. For all users of Konfigurator 2 software, this means even more flexibility in daily use. The newly added speaker blocks include NOMOS LT, T20, PS15R2, S805, CD12, SW18 and VS15 in various setup variants. The new K2 Library is available free of charge in the download area.

The post New Hoellstern 10.4-DSP system amplifier now available first appeared on Hoellstern Audio Amplifiers.]]> The family of Hoellstern system amplifiers has now been given a powerful addition: the new 10.4-DSP system amplifier is available. The new model is an extremely powerful 4-channel DSP amplifier with over 5,300 watts at 2 ohms per channel and includes the 2 ohms load stability which is typical for Hoellstern®.

The new high-performance amplifier is suitable for both fixed installations and mobile use. And with a weight of 12.5 kg and enclosure dimensions like the existing 4-channel models, it is compatible with the proven 4-channel and 8-channel touring racks and patch bays.

With the free K2 software, users can easily set up the amplifier in the network and configure desired setups and DSP settings in no time at all.
Thanks to the outstanding temperature- and current-stable 2.7 ohm and 2 ohm performance, highly efficient sound reinforcement solutions can be realized that maintain their high dynamics without “pumping” even with heavy material and summery temperatures. Of course, the new model also comes with the usual 5-year warranty in accordance with the warranty conditions.

The network view, the behavior of the view filters “Active memory” and the disconnection and connection of the network line have been improved. Also on board: The support of the brand new Hoellstern 10.4-DSP amplifier.

It is recommended to use the new version from now on. Please uninstall the previous K2 versions and then install K2 V1.78 with the usual user rights. All computers should be brought up to date (K2 projects are not backwards compatible!). For security reasons, amplifiers should be set to DSP-OFF and then reset to factory settings. When uploading from a memory for the first time, the library in the amplifier will be renewed. The first upload from a memory therefore takes longer.

Furthermore, the K2 V172 beta versions are now available for Windows and Mac. These preliminary versions include enhanced graphic displays and extended, practice-oriented functions such as monitoring, filters, memory explorer, user rights and a text filter for a quicker setup selection.

The post Hoellstern wows CUE visitors with the new 20.4-DSP-TFT amplifier first appeared on Hoellstern Audio Amplifiers.]]> From January 15th to 17 th 2018, the CUE fair 2018 was held in Rotterdam. With more than 125 exhibitors the ground was well filled. And for good reason: the professional visitors were able to catch up on the latest trends in the fields of event, installation and entertainment technology.

Of course, Hoellstern could not be absent here either. Our Dutch distributor Auvilight was on the site with representative Rob Roosen presenting our product highlights. Particularly the new 20.4-DSP-TFT amplifier attracted wide interest among the expert audience. Especially the synergy with the flexible K2 software and its numerous configuration options convinced the visitors at our booth during the 3-day event.

Because of the success for Auvilight and Hoellstern, we have decided to be in it again next time. So let’s look forward together to the CUE 2020!
